Creativity Contract
My favorite app store is Google Play
Store. Since I have an android phone it
is the best app store suited for the phone capabilities that I have and the
system that me phone uses to operate. It works just like any other app store
that allows you to search for the different apps that you want. It also has
tabs that offer music, books, movies and tv, and magazines. I also personalizes
to you by suggesting things based on the type of apps that you may search for.
Temple Run is a game where a character runs through these different mazes that look somewhat like a temple and has to avoid different obstacles in order to keep running. For example there are tree stumps, gaps in the surface, partial surfaces, and rabid monkey monsters chasing you. It also offers incentives for prolonger running that will help you as you continue to run.
The Facebook app allows people to be able to go
mobile with their facebook. It makes it easier because you don’t have to carry
around your computer to check your facebook when you get ready. It has all of
the amenities that the computer version offers and in some ways is a lot
better. You get notifications directly to you phone, but without this app you
would have to get on the computer to check all of this and that is less direct.
Twitter is
pretty new to me, I haven’t been a user for a while, but this app is very
similar to the facebook app in the attributes it offers for the computer
version and the ease of being mobile. Twitter allows people to stay updated on
all of their friends and followers most recent tweets and since most people
tweet about their day it is easy to be involved in their lives.
App 5: Skype
App 4: Pandora
App 5: Skype
I love Skype. Skype
is a video calling system that allows one to have a video conversation with
someone without them having to be there. I’m a father so having an app that
allows me to be able to see my son every day and talk to him as if we are in
the same room is great. I also have friends in other countries and other states
so it allows me to talk to them and see them as well.
App 4: Pandora
Pandora is a music app that allows you to create
station and tailor your music just the way you like it. The few bad things
about it is sometimes it not always on point with what I want and I also get
tired of the commercials, but those are things that I can get over and it
really is a great app for your listening pleasure.

Spanked Vandy's Blank
Alright, I had a good weekend. The guys went out, fought hard and got a win against Vanderbilt. This makes me especially happy because the coaches really wanted this win so if we would have lost then practice this week would have been heck on wheels! Happy coaches make happy players. The defense played well pitching a shut out and the offense set a school record for the most consecutive games scoring 40 points or more. I have to say that I am proud of the direction that we are going in. We play hard and we stay together and depend on each other. That's probably the sole reason why we have been winning. Our team unity and team trust is so high that it creates this great chemistry and attitude that gives us a certain kind of confidence that we need. PROUD PROUD PROUD

Learning and Leading
1. Fluency, Flexibility, Originality, and Elaboration
2. Fluency and Elaboration probably give me the most trouble. I'm not very good a brainstorming, I am more of a just do kind of person. If i have a paper to write i just sit down and bang it out, I don't realyy brainstorm about what I want to talk about because I write well and my ideas flow well. Elaboration is also hard because it just sounds like extra. I'm a very "to the point" person so its hard for me to ramble about things or add the small minute details.
3. One could use Twitter to post ideas and maybe get feedback from the followers and maybe that would help spark some idea for me to brainstorm about or someone could give me some ideas on how to elaborate on things.
4. The only tool I am familiar with on the list is Twitter and as I said in the previous question one could just use Twitter and its followers to bounce ideas off each other.

Creativity Assignment
For this assignment I really didn't take a nap; it was more like I took a sleep, but when I woke up a spark or creativity led me to rearrange my living room. I have one of those big "L" couches with the different sections that can only go in the corner of you living space, so what I decided to do was take it apart and put the different sections where I wanted them to be. I'm pretty happy with it so far because on part of the couch that has recliners in it that I could never use before are now directly in front of the tv and I can actually recline in them now. Now I just need to vacuum.

Horizon Report Response
The Horizon report response talks about the use of technology for educational purposes in today's society. The people in younger generations are very much a technological based generation. The thought that technology could help students better learn by using things such as internet based learning, apps, and tablets has been widely tested over time and proven to have a positive affect on students learning. As future generations become very involved with all technology at a young age, the use of these items to help intrigued the minds of children and better their learning has become more accepted by educational systems. In the response, the section talks about how online learning and hybrid learning are becoming systems of education used by more and more schools. Teachers use a more challenged based and active learning system by having children use technology that they are accustomed to in their everyday lives such as tablets and smartphones. By using these types of instruments the kids feel more in control of how they learn information. Although some educators and educational systems seem to be more comfortable with the more traditional was of teaching, many others feel this move towards technology based learning will feel the benefits out way the costs greatly. I feel that this is a good concept for learning facilities because as younger generations become more involved with technology from today's society, it only makes sense to conform to the students understanding of technology and use this to the advantage of educators and educational systems.
